Genre in TV programming has greatly altered since the time TV was invented. This is indeed very obvious. However, the concept of bringing televisions shows to reality through the introduction of reality-based programs has broken the classic notion of predictable television, and the offering of unedited, real-time television programs brings the level of watching to a higher level.

Reality shows are watched by millions of viewers because of the horde of surprises and that level of excitement that they anticipate since character behavior are unexpected and the twist and turns of events are not so predictable unlike in the regular television series that we used to watch. But, since viewers are given this medium, their perspectives of an outcome for the show becomes obvious, and eventually they have already thought of the possible endings for a show even if those programs are not even finished yet. This leads to a challenge to the entertainment think-tanks on how to strategize and formulate reality-based programs that will offer a new flavor and excitement for their target market. Also, it should significantly consider culture-sensitive contents so as not to offend one’s religion and social standards, or even face legal sanctions on the part of the censors.

Whatever the next developments will be, reality shows will still exist as viewers like surprises and since most people believe in the cliché that one’s life is unique, so as every show that characters in reality programs portray.

There is a huge number of funny stuff circulating in the Web. A search in Google or any search engine will land you to websites dedicated to bring humor and fun to your surfing experience. The invention of the Web brought us a variety of World Wide Web resources where we can enjoy and relax through just surfing the cyberspace. And the funny stuffs are limitless, they seem to be increasing in numbers, and when you start enjoying them, you’ll also .

First are funny songs. These types of songs are oftentimes compositions that provide laughter through the lyrics or its interpretation, or the tune is so cool that we feel like dancing whenever it is played. Even songs written in foreign language seemed to be more acceptable and appreciated than before because of the wide circulation the Internet offers to songwriters.

How about commercials? These ads used to be kept off by TV viewers. But not all commercials are waste of time. There are those commercials, even though we’re not using the product or service being promoted, we still wanted them since they have captured our attention. Many of these funny commercials are very much known in the Web and the commercials alone are enough to market that particular service or product. Some of them are even banned in TV, but we’re lucky there is the World Wide Web, and censors cannot do much to prevent us from seeing them.

This age is also the period where reality shows took place, and they combine wit and humor to bring about real-life entertainment, not acted by professional artists. Funny pranks are famous and almost every one, regardless of age, race, and gender, are becoming entertainers in their own merit when their shows took the Web by storm.

We sometimes feed them the same food we eat. Others join animal shows just to showcase the talents and beauty of their pets. Needless to say, many of us consider them as an integral part of our family.

Dogs and cats are the most common pets. While spiders, lizards, squirrels, snakes and other exotic pets also had their share of owners. Companionship, more than anything else are the reason many people keep them. These animals make their way into our house because of the happiness they bring us. They ruin the sofas, there’s litter everywhere, they smell, their noisy but who cares, they bring joy to the family and that’s more important than all their mischiefs.

A friend is always there whenever needed. They are clowns that puts away our tiredness and boredom. They are companions that’ ll give their lives to save us. They’re such bundle of joys always willing to cheer us up. That’s why it is common to see pets in every home. The moments we shared with them are usually among the most memorable events in our life. We take pictures of them in their candid moments with our family. Kids play with pets as we take videos and portraits of them. Some hire professional photographers just to make pet portraits of their most loyal pets and display it with family’s memorabilia. 10 Article Writing Guide for Newbies

This article on the 10 (no, 11… yes, 11) tips for aspiring authors is not composed from the catbird seat point of view of the article host or database manager. It is rather by and from the perspective of an author who remembers the early misgivings. It is composed particularly for the starting article author. I have composed and presented hundreds of writings for publication to numerous of article servers and information managers and still finds article writing my nemesis.

1. Needs vs Wants:
Compositions and Web blogs are necessary in present day system of search engine indexing. Not what the newbie wants to hear. Just remember what the Holy Book states, “there has nothing over taken you that is not common to man”. That’s right! Many of us detest article and blog writing at times, and some of us dread the journey to pen and paper (or keyboard as the case may be) all the time. Many Internet marketer would call them “a unavoidable evil” as they are not broadly speaking anyone’s best liked house keeping tasks.

2. Just Start, It Gets Easier:
First it is often tough to get a thought or idea and to get started. We know writers who literally get sick thinking about the process. Lighten up. There are a lot to write about, name it: alternative medicine, cancer diseases, true religion, life insurance, playing online poker, cheap insurance. Others may think of even more unusual topics such as penis enlargement and cheap viagra. Once an author has a starting point and gets passed the first thoughts, blogging and article usually goes fairly smoothly.

The great thing is that you get started. Select a subject you are familiar with and know something about and just start. You will be enjoyably at just how easily ideas flow. Don’t think everybody knows what you know. They do not. Will Rogers once uttered, “all men are ignorant, just on different subjects”. And this is the truth!

3. Good vs Perfection:
Your old English composition professor is not looking over your shoulder. This paper does not have to be perfect. That is not to say it does not have to be on point or to say that it does not have to be correct. At least it does or it should be. But, perfection is not the goal and is, in fact, rarely possible. Too much detail and you run the risk of losing your reader on various levels. Too long and
most readers simply don’t have the time or interest to wade through the material irrespective of how important it is.

4. Blog Length vs Length of Article:
Most article publishers require a minimum of 600 words per article - some will let you slide with 400 words. Blogs can have a shorter content. Blogs can and maybe should support appropriate pictures and embedded links.

Just don’t over do it. Too gaudy or too slow to load and you have wasted your time, ticked off a potential reader, and probably upset a publisher who can ban you entirely from their service. writings, then again, typically cannot carry these extra touches according to the prerequisites of most publishers.

5. Format:
Prepare your article in American Standard Code for Information Interchange (ASCII) format. There are many tools that does this thing. A search for ‘free ASCII editor’ or for ‘free plain text editors’ will provide one with a multitude of free options. WordPress is a popular option. If all else fails Notepad is enough for you to use.

6. Spelling and Grammar:
Run and good spell checker and grammar checker once you have written your article. Microsoft Word has a built-in tool for this. Just don’t use the MS Word copy for composing of your article. Rather use its corrections to make any essential corrections to your copy in plain text. The MS Word copy will work for blogs although other editors are desired.

Like the good old days when you were pushed by teachers, you will findarticle writing and blog authoring skills become easier with time and practice.

7. Publish and Announce:
Once your blog is ready you may want to use some automatic tools to publish and announce it. First do a search for Blog hosts and select those suited to your needs. Register in one or more and publish your blog there. Then search for blog announcers and RSS announcers and use them to get your blog noticed.

Now that you have that out of the way find an article wizard that will post your articles to free web publishers. You can post them one at a time by hand if you are really bored and have absolutely nothing else in life to do. Using an automatic poster you can publish to hundreds of servers in an hour or so. The only way to go.

8. Forbearance:
Now, have some forbearance. Here is where you lose control. Many of those who host writings are timely and your compositions will be reviewed within 1 to 2 days. But, many others will be days and weeks down the road therefore never date an article - a sure way to get rejected.

9. Rejection - “sorry your article has been declined”:
Be prepared for most directories to reject your compositions. Do not take it personally. It usually has little to do with you or your article.

Some databases instantly reject compositions for spelling errors when there are none or where there is more than way to spell a word. And, just as in any other endeavor some hosts are simply too slow-moving and get so far behind, the easiest and fastest thing to do (and perhaps the only alternative) is to reject the whole article. You will know who does this over time.

There are also people who review your compositions through the sausage grinder and if they find certain words, irrespective of how they are used, your article are instantly junked. These are the people who can’t even publish the Bile because it contains words that offend them or their readers. Don’t worry about these folks who are so heavenly minded they are of no earthly use.

Remember, just as in everything else in life, for every rule there is an exception.

10. Keep the faithBelieve, and keep cranking out compositions:
Since most authors, especially newbies, prepare only one copy of an article against the advice of most seasoned authors it is important that the newbie keep his chin up - keep the faith. That will be easier as more and more of your writings are accepted and published taking visitors to your website while making those all significant back links.

It is not necessary that every host to accept every submission. After one or two hosts publish your article on any given subject, the search engines tend to penalize additional postings of the same article. This is close to spamming and while it could help someone find you, it probably won’t. It is not necessarily, the more the merrier. The additional listings will not increment your page rankings or links reported by the search engines. It is more significant to get your article published by hosts with the highest Google PageRank possible.

Now, one Incentive Hint for you: Together with “the rejection slip” will usually come a proposition on how to “fix” your article and a request that you submit it again. Don’t blow your time. While trying comply with one database manager’s request you could have written a new one where you can get more exposure. Enough publishers will pick your article up so move on and save yourself some time and heartburn.

Each person has an idea or thought at least once a day usually at the most inconvenient time. How many of these ideas are lost because you procrastinate? Don’t procrastinate! Go! Compose that thought before disappears.

I say, if you like to quit your job, STOP WORKING; I’ll even give you 5 reasons why you should.

1. If you leave your job you’ll have plenty of time to reading good articles such as this one. This will enable me to become a trademark name down at the Office of Unemployment and Welfare Services. My fame is a simple price in achieving your dreams. Think about this when you see me on TV.

2. Quitting your job will make you feel wonderful. You’ll be in cloud nine in 10 minutes, you’ll be on top of the world, you’ll be living the good life, you’ll be: -insert your own cliche here-. Then the worries start about the car note, the mortgage, the kid’s school clothes, groceries, and and how you’re going to pay the amount you owe to other companies. All this will bring depression up to the extent of attempting suicide, but at least you had 10 minutes of freedom.

3. TV shows during the day is considered the most thrilling and fascinating television in the market. You’ll inquire how you ever survived without all those soap operas, movies, talk shows, reality shows, and judge shows where you get the sinking suspicion that the judge has been paid off. When you combine this with all the educational advertisements that air during the daytime that will ”Teach you to drive a tractor trailer in 4 days’, ‘Allow you to get a degree from home’, ‘Show you how to make $1,000 a day stuffing envelopes’, in such exciting fields as GED preparation and septic tank scrubber’ and you’ll not only wonder why you didn’t quit your job sooner, you’ll promise not to get a job again.

4. In your previous job you missed all those important calls from collection agencies and other bill collectors. Now that you have resigned you’ll be able to sit at home in eager anticipation of these oh-so-important calls. Toss in a few telemarketers, calls from the Sheriff’s Association asking for donations, and a few of those computers that call you and ask you to ‘Hold for an important message’ and you’ll have to sit back and relax answering these calls. It’s like having a job again, without all the hassle of getting a paycheck.

5. Dragging yourself out of bed every morning at 5:30 in the morning can’t be good for your health. Your doctor will be happy to know that caring for your body is your priority to go as far as leaving your job. He won’t see you anymore, however, since you don’t have health insurance. But there’s no need to worry, after all that’s why we have free clinics. Waiting all day in this clinic next to young teenagers diagnosed with Gonorrhea is is another wonderful experience you will surely miss if you had kept your day job.

Why Do We Celebrate Birthdays

Why do we celebrate birthdays? What is it that we are toasting? Is it the fact that we have survived another year against many odds? Are we tinkering about our progress we have gone through, our victories and triumphs? Is that symbolizes a new hope sprung eternal to live another year?

None would matter maybe..

If we are commemorating the year that passed, would we still drink to it if we have some bad news about our health? Not likely, but why? How is the future relevant (our own eventful death) when one is celebrating the past? We cannot change the past. No future event can vitiate the fact that we have made it through another 12 months of struggle. Then why not celebrate this fact?

Because what we focus on is not the past. It is about our future, not about the past. We are celebrating having gone so far because such outlook in life allows us to move forward. We proclaim our potential to enjoy life. Birthdays are expressions of exuberant, blind faith in our own suspended mortality.

But, if this were true, definitely we have less and less to celebrate as we grow older. What are the reasons do septuagenarians have to drink to one more year if that gift is far from guaranteed? Life provides diminishing returns: the longer you are invested, the less likely you are to reap the dividenda of survival, life insurance for example. So, based on actuarial science, it becomes increasingly less rational to celeberate as we grow older.

Thus, we are driven into the conclusion self-delusionally defying death are what birthday meant. Birthdays are about preserving the illusion of immortality. Birthdays are forms of acting out our creative thinking. By celebrating our existence, we give ourselves protective charms against the meaninglessness and whimsical nature of a impersonal, cruel, cold, and often hostile universe.
